Marina was born into a family spanning two generations of skilled
carpenters. Her father immigrated from Italy and within ten years, established
himself as a respected builder and developer of luxury homes and residential complexes across Sydney and regional NSW. He was later joined by his eldest son, and together they focused on Northern and Eastern suburbs of Sydney and became known as award winning property developers. Raised in an environment shaped by building and construction, Marina developed a belief that disciplined planning, clear scope and meticulous methodology lead to outcomes that are second to none.

Her interest in interiors grew alongside her fascination with architecture and development. In 2019, she changed direction and completed her studies at Sydney Design School, graduating with a Certificate IV in Interior Decoration. Soon after, she launched her own decorating business, Evoke Interior Decorating and later evolved through Moodblogs.com where she continues to build on her body of work in interior decoration. This platform blends articles, curated mood-boards and visual inspiration that encourage people to embrace their own style with confidence.

She has worked with singles establishing their own space, couples creating their first shared home, to families shaping a lasting one. She also has a special interest in masculine interiors, particularly for apartments and studio living.

Marina was previously a Member of the Design Institute of Australia and earned accreditation as a DIA Accredited Designer through her published articles.
